ENLIVEN COUNSELLING
Sarah Sinray, MSc., RCC (she/they)

Welcome
This is a time in history where the rate of change is so fast, and the pressures of oppressive systems are so many, that inner liberation and thriving can feel out of reach. We might have developed self-awareness, and yet watch ourselves seemingly compelled to repeat patterns that we know don't serve us. Or deflated under the weight of ecosystems that are being degraded and exploited, and fearful of lessening empathy.
It is also a time where trauma therapies that heal from the root, from deep structures of the brain well under the intellect, have evolved that have the power to untangle knots we inherited from generations before us. We don't have to will change any longer, healed trauma can free up energy to see clearly and act in ways aligned with deepest intentions.
Sarah Sinray, MSc., RCC (she/they) of Enliven Counselling offers professional, embodied & compassionate individual and group counselling services. Sarah is an avid learner for close to 2 decades of the trauma modalities of EMDR, Somatic Psychotherapy, Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) and parts work (Ego State Therapy). Her approach is practical and attuned to the people she has been lucky to work with over the years.
She is especially excited to be one of the first trauma therapists in BC trained in DBR (all 3 levels + Alexander Technique interweaves) as it is proving to be a very safe and efficient was to process trauma, including when dissociation is at play.
She works from a feminist, queer, and anti-oppressive lens from an office in Vancouver (292 E 1st Ave, Vancouver, BC) and virtually.
